Title = Four Steps in Measuring Mass on the Triple Beam Balance Direct Method
On First Half of page: Draw a Triple Beam Balance with all parts labelled
On the Second Half of the page: Draw OPDEFSubtitles
1. Zero the Balance2. Place the masses to be measured on the pan
3. Slide the riders over until the balance becomes zeroed
4. Read the Mass reading from each arm and add them up. (show units!)
Page Two: Top Half of the page
Title = Measuring Mass using the Subtraction Method
Subtitles1. Mass the container (Zero the balance)2. Mass the container and the sample
3. Subtract mass of the container from the mass of the sample (be sure to show units!)
Page Two: Bottom Half of the page
Title = Measuring Mass using the Addition method
Subtitles1. Mass the container (Zero the balance)2. Set the total mass onto the Triple Beam
(Add the desired sample mass and container mass & show proper setting on Triple beam)
3. Add sample to container until TBB pointer shows Zero. (be sure to show units!)
