Standard Graph Formats

There is an enormous amount of different styles of graphs that the scientist can to use to display data in a meaningful manner. There are Line graphs, Bar graphs, High-Low Bar graphs, Floating Bar graphs, Scatter graphs, and Pie graphs to name just a few.

We use two types of graphs frequently, the Line graph and the Bar graph. However, no matter which type of graph we use they must all contain the standard elements required in the Standard Format Rubric. We use these formats to ensure that our readers have data that is displayed in a complete, quality, and correct manner. Data shown this way is much easier to analyze!
