Lately everyone is finally talking about CO2 accumulation in the atmosphere causing Climate Change. Scientists have been studying this for over 40 years!

Let's do a little research and see how much gas and CO2 each of our households use or emit simply driving our family's cars! Then we will see what our class's footprint looks like!

Step One: Go to the Drive Neutral website at: http://www.terrapass.com/carbon-footprint-calculator/

Step Two: Enter the Year, Make, and Model of one of your family cars/SUV/trucks/vans using the menu. (Note if your vehicle is pre 1985 use the oldest listed similar vehicle).

Step Three: Annual Mileage: Ask your parents and enter approx miles

Step Four: Record: Enter the data from the website below for each vehicle.

Step Five: Repeat for all your vehicles

Step Six: Total the columns indicated belo
